p/s — my suspicion has been confirmed. Nik Nazmi is the youngest candidate to participate in the recent election:

If I remember correctly, it was first sung in 1963. So, it was probably a song to celebrate Malaysia.
But its connotation has changed lately, at least among local bloggers. It symbolizes “bangsa Malaysia”.
What is the history of the song you posted? Was it originally a post-Konfrontasi gloat?
