College football pundits are recognizing this season as strange. If I remember correctly, they called last year’s season as strange too. And so was the season before, too.
Question: if every season is strange, would that make another “strange” season as typical, normal, standard, familiar (insert any synonym from thesaurus here)?

The final goal was one of sheer confusion. It was so confusing that even van der Sar stood deeply in the goal to guard it. Not too many realized that it was a goal when it happened, not even me.

While listening to the game at Illinois, I am watching a replay for the rugby match between South Africa and England. Did I just see somebody being chased by a policeman in the middle of the field while a scrum was being played out?

Illinois 17, Michigan 27.
Michigan and Ohio State are the only undefeated teams in the Big Ten. And by looking at the current ranking, I bet Michigan to rise to above #20.
Well, I was wrong.
Michigan is now ranked #24 in the AP.
And after a weekend of upsets, Ohio State is now #1. I hope they will stay at #1 until November 17; on the same day, Michigan will pull the rug under OSU so hard that they’d wish they were never born.
Oh, yeah, which is a greater upset?
