On that day, Shell and BP probably had the highest price. I got picture of it for you!<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.maddruid.com\/Graphics\/gasPriceA2Shell.jpg?w=580\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Can&#8217;t wait to see the day when the average gas price hits $3.00 per gallon. Why am I excited? So that I could see more of this:<\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.maddruid.com\/Graphics\/gasPriceA2Empty.jpg?w=580\" \/><\/div>\n<p>And yeah:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>So what should we be doing? Here&#8217;s a hint: We can neither drill nor conquer our way out of the problem. Whatever we do, oil prices are going up. What we have to do is adapt.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2004\/05\/07\/opinion\/07KRUG.html\">Krugman<\/a> on gas prices.
